Summer is Here!

So its June 15th and summer is finally here!! Went to Honu sports camp all morning with the boys for work and it was hot out there. Aidan kept telling me "I just need to sit in the shade." Boys love it though and Zeke has lots of big sisters there, who could resist his curls. Aidan runs his little heart out and is getting much better about leaving my side which is nice. Came home and put Zeke down for his 3hr nap (thank you sports camp) and filled up the pool for Aidan. Of course I did it so it was all lopsided and not filled very high but he loved it "Mommy you made this pool for me!" yeah, I'm awesome like that. Watered my poor neglected garden that somehow keeps growing, can't wait for some corn and fresh garlic, did my homework and now I am even journaling, look at me go. Time to make some dinner, get ready for derby and then crafts after that. Gotta love my life :)

So Russ took the boys on the Monster Bus today and this time we have pictures! Grandpa joined in on the fun too with Owen, Avery and Wyatt. All the boys, big and small, had a blast.

A great day with no camera is still a great day!

Today was AWESOME!!! This morning we went to the park and Russ got to come too so the boys were very happy to have some daddy time :) Then we went to Costco for some shopping, I was happy to have the help, and of course we had hot dogs for lunch! Who could say no to 1.50 for a hot dog and a soda, great family time. Boys "napped" and we went to pick up Auntie "Bitas" for some Kung Fu Panda 2 action. Zeke was practicing his Kung Fu the whole time and randomly saying "Mommy don't look! Cover your eyes!" while placing his hand over my face, very cute. Aidan sat and cracked up through the whole thing, I love that boys laugh. After that there was more adventure in store! We went to the levee and skated it with my roller derby team and everyone was good about helping me entertain the boys as they ran alongside us. It was so nice to finally have some nice weather and I can't wait till next week when hopefully daddy can come too. As if that wasn't enought on the way home I caved and took the boys on the Monster Truck Bus ride and it was sooo much fun! Zeke laughed and put his arms up as I held onto him of course, and Aidan held onto the bar so tight and had the biggest smile on his face! You could see the excitement in them so I told Russ he has to take them again tomorrow. Hopefully next time the camera will have a full battery.

The Curls Will Stay! (for now anyways)

Russell works swing shift now so we had all morning with the boys together. Gave Russ a mowhawk, Zeke said he wanted one but all I had to do to keep those cursl was say "Does Baby Zeke want a hair cut?? Nooooo, because Baby Zeke likes his curls." He then put his hand on his head and said "I don't want a mowhawk!" Hahaha mommy wins. Washed the cars, Zeke washed himself haha, went for a ride in the 4runner per Aidans request and both boys crashed out when we got home which gave us time to sit and relax for a bit before he headed to work and I headed to homework.

6 Years & Easter :)

We had our 6yr anniversary yesterday! A little trip to Gizdich for some pie and lunch then the races with some friends. Doesn't really get any better. Celebrated Easter the next day and the boys always make it awesome. Colored eggs with Auntie Rachel, dinner and egg hunt with the Schercks and Easter concert at the church to end the night.
